RECRUITMENT

The Company is always looking to recruit new medical and nursing staff to undertake work on it's behalf.

Although the company does not have any vacancies for full time salaried staff, the need for  available, trained and competent staff continues. Thus applications for accreditation are always welcomed from personnel, who are willing and able to undertake escort work.

It goes without saying that both training and experience are a necessary quality and any applicant must be able to demonstrate both.

If you would like to be considered the Company would be delighted to receive an application. To assist you listed below is a summary of the process by which successful personnel are eventually selected for accreditation.

The application which must be submitted, should include an up to date CV accompanied by 2 recent passport photographs, one of which is certified on the back with the words I certify that the photograph overleaf is a true likeness of .... whom I have known for .....years. Certification should be by a person who has known the applicant for not less than 2 years and that person should hold one of the following qualifications, Judge or Magistrate, Lawyer (recognised as such by the State), Notary Public, or Medical Doctor.

Copies of all professional qualifications should be submitted, and if from outside the United Kingdom of Great Britain all copies should be notarised.

The company requires a certificate of Good Conduct from the local Police Force, if from outside the UK, and a certificate of Good Standing from your Statutory Registration Body. If in the UK the Police Certificate of Good Conduct is replaced by a certificate of the Criminal Record, obtained through the Criminal Records Bureau. Aeromedical Ltd. is an exempt organisation under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and both can and will ask questions about criminal records, cautions etc as well searching the records of the Dept Health and Education. The search will include offences which would other wise be precluded by virtue of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.

The names of  2 professional colleagues, stating how long they have know you and in what capacity, additionally one other should be submitted.

It is also helpful at this stage if confirmation of good health, details of immunisations, details of your professional indemnity insurance, specifying the carrier, the geographical extent of cover and the limit of liability, can be forwarded. If you have any unusual visas this should also be notified and copies of the relevant pages from your passport should accompany the application. In this case please ensure that the documentation pages are appended.

If at this stage the company wishes to progress the application, which will not in any event occur until satisfactory references are received and confirmation is received from any Statutory Registration body that the applicant is indeed in good standing and holds the stated qualifications, the following process will apply.

Assuming all is in order and it is decided to take matters a stage further, contact will be made and the applicant will be invited to interview, (in person if applicable, otherwise by telephone).

Only after this has been completed will any decision be made as to whether accreditation should be granted. If granted the applicant will be advised of the terms of engagement.

It can be seen from the above that the Company takes seriously it's duty of care to its clients and that it does all possible to ensure that only the highest calibre staff are allowed to have contact with company clients.

This policy should be of great comfort to both clients and the staff themselves.
